🍊 Maria Biscuit Pudding and Orange Zest🍮
Ingredients:
5 eggs
7 table spoons sugar
500 ml (2 cups) milk
16 Maria biscuits (or plain tea biscuits)
Liquid caramel (store-bought or homemade)
Preparation:
Blend the mixture
In a blender, add the eggs, sugar, milk, and Maria biscuits and orange zest.
Blend for just a few seconds until smooth and well combined.
Pour liquid caramel into the bottom of a pudding mould (or bundt pan), coating evenly.
Add the blended mixture on top of the caramel.
Place the mould inside a deep baking tray.
Fill the tray with hot water halfway up the sides of the pudding mould (bain-marie method).
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 45 minutes.
Allow the pudding to cool completely.
Carefully unmould onto a serving plate.
